The El Paso Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) is proud to announce its 1st Future Engineers Challenge-Sprint Triathlon and 1-Mile Walk event on Sunday, August 18th at Ascarate Park.
The Sprint Triathlon will consist of a 400m swim, a 20k bike, and 5k Run. Proceeds from the event will benefit the “TSPE El Paso Chapter Endowed Scholarship in Engineering” fund. Support will maintain the endowment and provide scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing an engineering degree at UTEP.
Encourage your family, friends, and employees to join in the festivities. As this is a sprint triathlon and a 1 mile walk, all fitness levels and backgrounds can enjoy a beautiful summer morning at Ascarate Park. There will be food vendors and raffle prizes. Prizes will also be given to the top three finishers of each triathlon category (individual, 2-person relay team, and 3-person relay team).
