In August 2019, the Paso del Norte Trail Advisory Committee identified a strategic focus area to guide short-term planning and development, from the University of Texas at El Paso to the Playa Drain Trail at Ascarate Park. The Paso del Norte Trail partnered with Creosote Collaborative to develop a Strategic Implementation Plan based on specific criteria and metrics used to evaluate individual segments of this focus area. This document is intended to provide necessary and useful information when approaching partners and for completing grant funding applications, and expediting development along this central corridor of the Paso del Norte Trail.
